Padme

Former Queen of Naboo, Senator of the Galactic Republic, ally of the Jedi Order, and destined mother of Luke and Leia Skywalker. She has fought off an invasion of her world, numerous assassination attempts, and seen the beginning of the Clone Wars. What she's still destined for is even greater. Now she's on another world, trying to find friends, support…and a way home.

• Born on Naboo to Ruwee and Jobal Naberrie.
• Joined the Apprentice Legislature at 8 years old, and was an Apprentice Legislator at 11.
• Became Princess of Theed at age 13, and elected Queen later that same year.
• Dealt with the events of the Neimoidan Trade Federation and invasion of Naboo one year later.
• Led her people through two terms as Queen, declining the offer to change the laws to allow her to stay on longer. Stepped down, but took up a position as Senator at the request of her successor.
• Instrumental in going to Coruscant to try and vote against the Military Creation Act. During this time, she entered into a deepening relationship with Anakin Skywalker. She traveled with him to Tatooine in an attempt to save his mother. In the aftermath, she and Anakin went to Geonosis to save Obi-Wan.
• In the ensuing battle, Padme was thrown from a speeder she was riding on. Rather than hitting the sands of Geonosis, however, she passed through one of the dimensional breaches that lead to the City, landing instead on the streets here.

Padme is a very driven person, dedicated to the ideals of the Republic and the support of her people. She wants to make the universe a better place and protect the rights and liberties of all. She's surprisingly mature, given that she was already ruling her people in her teens. But that maturity is offset by a headstrong nature that frequently sees her rushing in to take action before she may necessarily think through all the consequences of those actions.

She is a strong supporter of the Jedi Order, and of the political processes of the Republic; an idealist at heart. She is generally unwilling to compromise those ideals, even when the laws and policies are against her.

Padme has no superhuman powers of any kind. She does possess a blaster, which she can use for ranged energy attacks, but that is limited to the amount of charge in the blaster cell.

Padme is a skilled politician, debater, and administrator. She's also a competent pilot of hovercraft and spacecraft. She's an excellent shot with a sporting blaster as well. She's also a reasonably good actress (lots of practice pretending to be a handmaiden), quite athletic, and also a rather proficient lockpick (don't ask).

In her home universe, Padme is a Galactic Senator, and thus both very wealthy but also possessed of significant political pull. Of course, none of that means anything here. Here, her sole “perk” would be in the people from her universe who might know her and help her…and that could be offset by people from her universe who might know her and want to kill her.

Padme can tend to be impulsive, sometimes leaping before she looks. She operates strongly on her emotions, and on the belief of what is right, and occasionally doesn't take the time to sit back and plan analytically. She also has a great many enemies, though most of them are from her home universe. Still, should the Sith show in the Endless City, she's likely to be one of their main targets.

Padme is unsure how she got here, or even where here is. Finding some kind of support network is her first priority, and figuring out how to get home would be a second. Of course, if she encounters some of the other people from her universe, that may radically change. Especially if she finds out what-is-to-come.
